I didn’t meet Demola waiting to tear my head down but I met Salewa, sitting quietly in my chair and fiddling with her iPad. My eyes caught her as I was rushing into the office and immediately they did, I started retracting my steps. I wanted to go to the bathroom and think of what to do to avoid her but unfortunately, she rotated the chair and her eyes caught me.(more…)
I was going to go to the bathroom, call Bena and tell her what was going on as hot Fola’s behaviour was confusing and how I thought he was just messing with my head. But just before I got to the door, just two inches away from the door, I missed a step, tripped over and fell down.
I forgot the documents for my meeting and with the way that Fola had been targeting me, I knew that if I didn’t have those papers, it would be disastrous, considering how he had reacted during my first presentation. I quickly dashed into the office to get them because me I didn’t want wahala with anybody. Before Demola and Salewa think I am ruining things on purpose.(more…)
Three weeks passed and there was no word from Fola’s end. Demola had called a few times to find out if they had awarded the contract to another company but he couldn’t get any substantial information. I was starting to worry because I knew that if we didn’t get that contract, Demola would blame me for it and that would mean trouble.(more…)
“Will you be my girlfriend?” Fowi asked me.
I was shocked. I didn’t think he would ask so quickly. We hadn’t even been talking for up to a month. I guess nobody really takes that long to progress to the next level these days.

The gates of Fowi’s house flung open almost immediately Lade honked. As Demilade drove in, I unzipper the zipped of my playsuit, enough to display just the right amount of cleavage.
After parking behind the Lexus, we alighted from the car. The gate man greeted us and went back to his duty post as we made our way to the entrance door. Sophie rang the bell and Fowi opened the door almost immediately. (more…)
“If you don’t know how to keep your mouth shut, then I will shut it for you.” Tola said.
She climbed one step up and looked around to see of anybody was close enough to hear her. I quickly stepped back because I didn’t want her to know I was eavesdropping.More tea
“What were you going to do just now?” I heard Tola ask.
“I don’t understand mum.” Sophie replied.
“You wanted to eat leftover food?”
Ahan! Leftover food ke? Didn’t we just stand up to see Fowi off? How was it leftover food? Was it not the rice that we left for three minutes we were going to continue eating? Omo na wa o. Me that had said I was going to take Fowi’s chicken and eat sef, now the woman is calling it leftover. (more…)
Your favorite girl is back with a new title, Ifunaya Martina Nwokedi, IJGB. You read that right. I have finally travelled outside this country and I’m sure you know that it means I am no longer your mate because my full baby girl mode has been activated.
I smiled when he started to walk to me. I thought I had successfully seduced him again till he did something that left me extremely shocked. He bent down, picked up my robe, draped it over my shoulder and tied the belt, completely covering my nakedness.
